Disappointing

Why did Des Bishop appear before the band took the stage almost 20 minutes? If there was a situation at hand, an announcement would have smoothed it over, but poor way to begin. The audio mix was awful secondly. To my ear, Des Bishop, who is a fantastic performer, had a microphone that was only coming through the stage monitors & not the house mix. This dreadful mix lasted all night and was so noticeable when one of "the Pips" joined her on stage and picked up a microphone that was working properly thru the house PA. Des Bishop sang again after his 10-minute act, but with all the talking and no encore, found the show on the very short side. Quite honestly feel short changed. Wish she would have performed longer as she is a great talent. This is not the first time there was a bad audio mix at the Bergen PAC. Frustrating way to begin the show. Quality control is needed! This needs to be corrected for the future, and quickly.
